Because somebody who insists on doing his own goddam stunts cut his forehead to the goddam BONE in a fight scene, to the tune of a severed muscle, bone bruise and 17 stitches. Back at work the next day, but damn, we've got to start putting padding around the set.

To be honest, it doesn't look all that bad. Because, of course, he decided to take the damn stitches out early. Himself.

Fucking Oklahoma....

Another terrific surprise of this week of prep was a concert in town at a club called Dante’s Inferno, where one of our stars, Christian Kane, performed with his band. Now I’ve known for a while what a talented singer and musician he is (we even put one of his songs in an episode last year), but I had no idea what a great live performer he is. He tore down the house with a powerful and energetic performance. The crowd (about 80 percent women – surprised?) went wild. With all the screaming I kept wondering if this is what is was like in the early days of the Beatles. It was a blast for all of us. A nice gift from Kane.

Sorry for the lack of updates. It's been a rough few weeks for me, been in and out of the hospital, but things are getting better. Anyways, as some of you may have noticed I have added a 'Summer Concert Info' section to the side panel to promote Christian's concerts at Dante's in Portland, which will go on thru the summer into September basically every other Sunday. So excited to have Christian on stage again! For those able to make the concerts, please remember us if you take photos and videos =) We'd love to have them up in our gallery.

There is now a second date added for Portland!! If you are not able to get to the concert June 7th at Dante's, then you have another chance to see Christian live on stage at Dantes in Portland on June 28th!! If you are able to make either or both of these dates, please let the site know, we'd love to get your thoughts and anything photos and videos you'd like to share with us!!

23 May 2009: Hot Time In New York For "Leverage" Cast

The cast of TNT's hot sophomore series Leverage was nearly on fire during the Turner Entertainment post-upfront press lunch in New York last Wednesday.
A bread-basket napkin placed too close to table candles briefly caught fire where Leverage cast members Timothy Hutton, Aldis Hodge, Christian Kane and Beth Riesgraf were sitting, along with The Wire and other representatives of the press.

A quick-thinking Kane extinguished the semi-charred napkin. That led Leverage co-producer Dean Devlin - who was also seated at the table - to proclaim table seven "the hottest spot in the restaurant."
